The first tour of the MIUOSH x Zespół Śląsk project "Pieśni Współczesne" was a great success and the artists sold out all the concerts! At the request of their fans, the musicians will once again perform in front of an audience. Tickets for the second tour of Miuosh and Zespół Śląsk in the Cavatina Hall are now available. During the concerts several new songs prepared by the artists will be premiered.

An epic work

MIUOSH x Zespół Śląsk "Pieśni Współczesne" is a milestone project in which the incredible potential of one of the oldest and most acclaimed folk ensembles in Poland and Europe is contrasted with urban, contemporary music that uses completely different forms of expression than classical music.

MIUOSH is the author of all the music and lyrics, which boldly draw on the folk traditions identified with „Silesia” and, fuelled by local mythology and a fresh look at human affairs, create a story about the people of the land struggling with contemporary problems without forgetting to respect tradition. „Pieśni Współczesne” went platinum and won the Fryderyk Award in the Roots Blues Music Album of the Year category.

More than 140 people were involved in the whole project, including the extraordinary and internationally acclaimed Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble and performers such as Błażej Król, Bela Komoszyńska, Ralph Kaminski, Igor Herbut, Natalia Grosiak, Julia Pietrucha, Tomasz Organek, Jakub Józef Orliński, Andrzej Smolik, Marcin Wyrostek or the Kwiat Jabłoni duo.
