Miuosh x Zespół Śląsk – „Pieśni Współczesne” Route Two

The first tour of the MIUOSH x Team Śląsk “Pieśni Współczesne” project turned out to be a great success, and the Artists sold out all the concerts!

In response to fan requests, the musicians will again play in front of the audience. Tickets for the Second Tour of Miuosh and Śląsk Team (day two at Cavatina Hall) are now available.

During the concerts, several new works prepared by the Artists will have their premieres.

A masterpiece

Miuosh X Zespół Śląsk band “Contemporary Songs” is a breakthrough project in which the amazing potential of one of the oldest and most appreciated folklore bands in Poland and Europe contrasts with urban, contemporary music and using completely different forms of expression than classic.

Miuosh is the author of the whole music and all texts that boldly reach for folk traditions identical to “Silesia”, and fastened with local mythology and a fresh look at human affairs, create a story about people of the land struggling with present problems, at the same time not remembering respect for tradition. The album “Contemporary Songs” was covered with platinum and was awarded Fryderyk in the Album of the Year category Music of the Blues roots.

Over 140 people were involved in the whole project, including the unusual and recognized song and dance group “Śląsk” and performers such as Błażej Król, Bela Komoszyńska, Ralph Kaminski, Igor Herbut, Natalia Grosiak, Julia Pietrucha, Tomasz Organ. Jakub Józef Orliński, Andrzej Smolik, Marcin Wyrostek or the duo Kwiat Jabłoni.

Once every million years there is a collision, a kind of mistake. Time streams and infinite amounts of places intertwine in a beautiful and unpredictable way, changing the existing worlds. Symbols, beliefs and traditions covered with the most respected rust, and something strangers creep in them. Together they create new ones.
