During the concert on the main stage, monumental works by three masters will resonate, blending classical heritage with romantic expression.
The evening will open with the dynamic and dramatic Overture to Beethoven’s opera “Fidelio” — a symbol of freedom and hope whose message remains timeless and inspiring.
Next, the audience will be moved by Robert Schumann’s lyrical Cello Concerto, where the soloist and orchestra engage in an intimate dialogue rich with deep emotions, from melancholy to exaltation.
The evening will culminate with the monumental and powerful Seventh Symphony by Antonín Dvořák — a work full of color, drama, and folk energy that perfectly captures the spirit of Romanticism and the strength of national musical identity.
The orchestra will perform under the guest baton of Maestra Ewa Strusińska — a Polish-British symphonic and operatic conductor, one of the most exciting artistic personalities of her generation. She was a finalist and laureate of the prestigious Gustav Mahler International Conducting Competition in Bamberg, the first woman assistant conductor in the history of the United Kingdom, and the first Polish woman to hold such a role abroad.
