An evening of music scented with the spirit of travel. Łukasz Dębiński – percussionist, composer, and sound explorer – will bring his rhythms to the rooftop of Cavatina Hall. For years, he has journeyed across the globe, seeking inspiration in the world’s heartbeat.
His latest album, On the Way, captures the essence of this voyage – a moody, atmospheric tale woven from the sounds of handpans, African drums, and Eastern melodies. The pieces performed during the concert were born on the road – from South America, through Africa, to Asia – each carrying the imprint of a specific place and moment in time.
The Concert of Ethnic Vibrations is not only a meeting with world music, but also with the emotion of the journey – moments of contemplation, joy, and reflection, transformed by Dębiński into sound. In his hands, instruments such as the handpan, djembe, dundun, and calabash become vehicles for storytelling without words.
This is a one-of-a-kind concert held under the open sky, with the city skyline in the background and the sun setting on the horizon.
