Hooverphonic is a band that enjoys taking the road less traveled. For over 25 years, they have been crafting their own unique and instantly recognizable sound. Alex Callier (lyricist/producer) and Raymond Geerts (guitarist) have been the band’s backbone since the very beginning. They have collaborated with many incredibly talented vocalists and were thrilled to reunite in autumn 2020 with the iconic voice of Geike Arnaert.

Over the years, the band has evolved from the dark, subdued trip-hop of their 1996 debut into a warmer, more orchestral sound — part psychedelic, part catchy, part pop — yet always resembling the soundtrack to a movie that doesn’t exist. Hooverphonic continues to tour the world, enjoying a strong live reputation and releasing hits such as “2Wicky,” “Eden,” “Mad About You,” “Anger Never Dies,” “Amalfi,” “Badaboum,” and “Romantic.” Many of their songs have been featured in the soundtracks of influential films and TV series.
